Texas v. U.S. Department of the Interior

The State of Texas filed a lawsuit in the federal district court for the Western District of Texas to challenge the listing of dunes sagebrush lizard as endangered under the Endangered Species Act. The complaint’s allegations included that “best available data” did not prove “a non-speculative basis to predict any real, predictable, or measurable impacts that may or may not be associated with climate change risks on the Lizard’s habitat.”
