Judgment for defendants affirmed.
The California Court of Appeal ruled that a methodology used by the County of Sacramento to determine the significance threshold for the greenhouse gas emissions from a development project was different from methodologies previously rejected by the California Supreme Court and another intermediate appellate court. The Court of Appeal also rejected contentions that the County failed to assess the impacts of the project’s construction-related greenhouse gas emissions on climate change.
