Complaint
In June 2022, a company that invests in and manages affiliates that develop renewable energy and battery storage projects filed a lawsuit in Oregon Circuit Court contending that the Oregon Public Utility Commission had unreasonably delayed implementing a 2021 law’s requirement that retail electricity providers eliminate 100% of greenhouse gas emissions by 2040. The Commission moved to dismiss the case in August.
