White Hair Solutions LLC v. Gideon Capital Investments & Management LLC

The federal district court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin granted a motion to dismiss some defendants from a case brought against them by White Hair Solutions (White Hair). White Hair claimed that the defendants induced them to provide a loan secured by fraudulent carbon credits, violating the Securities Act of 1933, the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, and the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act. The court granted one set of defendants' motion to dismiss the lawsuit based on their lack of personal jurisdiction.
