On December 4, 2023, Friends of the Earth United States filed a complaint against Export-Import Bank of the United States (US EXIM) to the US NCP. The complainant alleges failures to align with the Paris Agreement’s goals to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and inadequate disclosure of its direct and indirect (scope 1, 2, and 3) GHG emissions.
Previous NCP complaints have been filed against other export credit agencies: Export-Import Bank of Korea (KEXIM), UK Export Finance, and Atradius Dutch State Business.
